Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate any account where the user is found to be a minor, without notice and without refund of any credits.

The Platform is open to all adults regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship structure, religion, ethnicity, or disability status.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure.

You may not create more than one account. Accounts may not be transferred or sold.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. Impersonating another person or creating a misleading identity is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users.
• Post or transmit hate speech, content that targets individuals based on protected characteristics (race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, etc.).
• Solicit or share sexually explicit content involving minors under any circumstances. This will result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement.
• Deceive other users about your identity, including the use of someone else's photos.
• Advertise products or services, solicit money, or engage in commercial activities.
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or any malicious code.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect other users' data.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Platform.
• Circumvent safety features, moderation, or verification systems.
• Share contact information (phone numbers, social handles, email addresses) before the Platform's built-in trust stages allow it. This is enforced both technically and by these Terms.

Identity Verification: To protect our community, we require you to upload a profile photo and take a live selfie. These are compared by automated systems to confirm you are a real person and that both images show the same individual. By completing verification, you consent to this processing.

Soul Print: The Platform uses automated analysis of the answers you provide during setup and through daily questions to generate a "Soul Print", a personality profile and compatibility vector. This analysis is used to suggest connections. You consent to this analysis as a condition of using the Platform.

Content Moderation: Messages and uploaded content may be analysed by automated systems to detect policy violations. You consent to this analysis.

Platform-generated insights (Soul Print, Match Intelligence Reports) are for entertainment and connection purposes only. They do not constitute psychological, medical, or relationship advice.

Free Credits: The Platform provides a daily allowance of free credits. These expire after 30 days and have no monetary value.

Purchased Credits: You may purchase credit bundles. Purchased credits expire 90 days after purchase. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer protection law.

No Cash Value: Credits cannot be transferred between accounts, exchanged for cash, or redeemed for any monetary value.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the price of credits at any time. Prices displayed at the time of purchase will be honoured for that transaction.

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, host, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.

You represent that your content does not infringe any third-party rights and does not violate any applicable law.

We may remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines without notice.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including biometric data collected during verification.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

The Colours Parlor name, logo, software, and all original content produced by us are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. Meeting someone in person carries inherent risk. Exercise reasonable caution and follow our safety guidelines.

We do not guarantee that you will find a match, form a relationship, or have any particular experience on the Platform.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COLOURS PARLOR AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN CREDITS IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Colours Parlor and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or for any conduct we deem harmful to the community or the Platform.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your profile and messages will be removed. Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

Upon termination, any unused credits are forfeited and will not be refunded.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct negotiation or mediation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
